so I had this little brainstorm this morning, I had a ‘preview’ of some of the pages of the hybrid VALENTINE book on my desktop, and I thought, oh- those are so cute little! And I realized, that I can totally scale the output from my printer, and print all these files LITTLE!! So that is just what I did… went back in and printed out all the files at 50%! If you are careful, and you notice where your printer prints, you can actually print 4 pages on one sheet, but changing how you feed your paper…
for example, my Epson R1800 prints in the upper right corner of the paper… so if I just fed the paper, right side up, then upside down.. then backwards, and rightside up and upside down.. it printed in all 4 corners (2 on the front, and 2 on the back). I was quite pleased with myself because usually, I am totally challenged getting stuff to print where I want it to print on a page.

After I printed and cut them all out, I backed some of the pages I printed with some of my ‘heidi swapp’ papers… (I love this Haute Pink Hof3 set with the black and white dots and houndstooth).
It turned out SO cute… I almost like it better than the original! I printed out a few of my favorite little photos of the kids in small 2” size on my Epson…and just did some finishing touches..
I tied the pages all together w/ some ribbon… I love it. It’s total ‘purse’ size.

You are so right that EVERYTHING is cuter when it’s little!! I love the little version of the book! Hope the little ones are feeling better very soon, not fun to have them sick.

Too right! Smaller is ALWAYS cuter, and this is too cute!

Maridette - When you click on Print from your open PDF, look for where you can select your Page Layout. That’s where you will find a box to click on that will say Mirror Image. This should work even though the file is a PDF. Hope this helps.

Sorry, meant to add that you will usually find the Page Layout dialog box by clicking on the Preferences or Properties (depending on the kind of printer you have). Then there will probably be a tab across the top or somewhere else where you will see Page Layout. Then look for the Mirror Image box.

Adorable. You’re getting me in the creative mood. Your color combinations are always so bright and colorful, yet soft. Genius

Aren’t you the cutest! You make me smile when you talked about figuring out the printer…. I’m also bad at getting it to print where I want it to…. so many paper wasted just to get it right, SO frustrating!

The subsequent time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I really thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you may fix when you werent too busy on the lookout for attention.
