You girls are just too good to us! Who would’ve thought that this kind of initiative could work so well! I love the designs and styles all three of you bring together and it is a joy to read your individula blogs each day!
    Here’s to a fabulous weekend!

  2. Antoinette Says:

Gosh! I was so excited about the party that I forgot to tell you what makes my house a home - hahahaha
Well it would definitely have to be the happiness i see in my child’s big eyes when she plays around the house and feels completely at ease and comfortable. That definitely makes our house a real home to spend all our free time in :-)

  3. Kelly Mills Says:

Laughter, Joy, Fun! I’m one of the lucky ones who had a great childhood! I mean really great! All of us ate breakfast and dinner together Always. My dad played catch with us, rode bikes with us, took us on great vacations, you name it. My mother worked so hard and did such a great job in raising us kids. Now it’s my turn (has been for the past 20 years) Our home is the way it is today because laughter, joy and fun made my childhood house a home, we now strive to do the same thing in ours. I am very very blessed. Thanks Mom and Dad (who by the way just celebrated their 50th)

  4. Didee Says:

How exciting!!! I’ve watched the video’s and now I want to create my own album. They look gorgeous ladies, loads of inspiration.
What makes my house a home??? Well firstly it would have to be the laughter of my two girls running around the house and yard. It wouldn’t be a home without laughter! The fact that their toys are scattered around the floor, their story books left open on the lounge and their artwork hanging on the fridge, makes our house, our home! Our home would feel empty if this was not an every day occurrence. Thanks for the chance to win!!!

  5. Ann Says:

My house would be any other house without my family (including my fur-babies). They bring the smiles, the warmth, the love, the fun, the comfort and the memories which make it home. We’ve all added our loving touches to make it comfortable. Oh…and good home cooked meals make it all even better! LOL!

  6. mary kozak Says:

there are three generations living in our home, myself, my daughter and her two children. sometimes it is not easy, but in the end there is a lot of love shared. the passing on of traditions has become a daily endeavor. i love seeing my grandchildren learn what has been important in our family and hoping that they will pass the things on to their children some day.

  7. Leigh Says:

    Love your new site!

What makes my house a hone, is family! The sound of my children and my husband. No matter where we are that makes me feel at home.

  8. Michele Says:

What makes our house a home is the sound of our boys playing together, friends enjoying meals, movies and scrapbooking together. We hsve a very close group of friends and family near by.

  9. Fiona Says:

What makes our house a home is simple - it is where my family is. The sound of laughter, the tears, even the disagreements (between the girls that is), the talks, the cuddles, toys and books found in all rooms, the mess……the love - all of that, plus more, makes the music in our home.

  10. Geralyn Gray Says:

Family makes our house a home. Creativity abounds. My husband is a carpenter so he made the core of the house. I am the decorator. Add my children with laughter and a mini dachound named Jack and you have the Gray home. Always tell my children to be home by a certain time not be back at the house. Home is where the heart is and where all the money goes lately!

  11. Brenda Says:

What makes a house a home is laughter and joy, and that safe feeling that you get the moment you walk in the door. Can’t wait to purchase some of the house adornments! Love the things you guys are coming up with!

  12. Heather Says:

right now what makes my house a home is the smell of freshly brewed coffee, a cat purring on my lap, dh snorring in our room, ds planning where he’s going to drive to (just got his liscense yesterday) and a day of crafting ahead with dd. Thanks for the inspiration!

  13. Melanie Says:

Our house is a HOME because of our loving family. We have one child and he is 14 and we do almost everything together.

  14. Alisa Says:

Wow!! Can I just tell you that in an age where the world is looking down on traditional families and values, that your message of how important making a house a home is, is truly wonderful. I have watched all your videos and I am excited that so many women will be encouraged and validated in their roles as wives, mothers and keepers of their homes! I’m off to get started on my album….family is the most important thing and serving one another and putting others first makes our house a home!
    May God bless you!!

I would LOVE to win!! Love this new site - - so much inspiration!

  16. janaina oliveira Says:

I came to this country almost 8.5 years ago, in the beginning, I never felt like home, but today I see that home is not the place where you are but with who you’re, today I feel so happy to be here with my husband, my dog, and making out family grow with baby coming any moment now.
I just feel so happy and blessed and most important I feel Home.

  17. Mya Says:

Our house is our home because the dogs bring the dirt in with them. It’s our home because the bulldog has drooled on everything. It’s our home because the dishes stay in the sink a little longer because a good book is always more interesting. It’s our home because boys have dirty hands and must touch every wall. It’s our home because every corner has chunks taken out of it because I just can’t drive my youngest son’s wheelchair right still! It’s our home because although it should be filled with 9 year old screams, 6 year old disabilities have taken that ability away. It’s our home because when you walk in you need a butter knife to cut through the love that has filled every square inch of this humble dwelling. This house is our home because Jesus knows our needs and has laid out His plans for us.

  18. Cindy McDannold Says:

I hope that what makes our house a home is acceptance and love for all who enter. I have lived in my home for nearly 40 years and it has been a place of love and security since the day I stepped thru the doorway.

  19. Pennyscraps Says:

We are a house of four. Without any one of us, it would not be our home. My husband provides warmth and stability; my oldest son brings excitement and creativity; my youngest son brings laughter and adventure; our Yorkie brings a smile on a rainy day or a footwarmer on a cold afternoon; our tabby brings curiosity and elusiveness; me? I bring tradition and encouragement. Together, all mixed up, with some dirt and dishes, laundry and learning, games and goofiness added in, we create love - that safe place to nestle into at the beginning and end of each day.
Thank you for this festive online playground and fabulous projects!

  20. Jaime Benavides Says:

What makes OUR house a HOME is the PITTER-PATTER of 3 pairs of feet. The giggles coming from the older boys’ bedroom after they’ve ALREADY been tucked into bed. The humming coming from the babies’ nursery when my 1 year old son wakes up in a happy mood EVERY morning. All of the little NOISES and SOUNDS my 2 month old daughter makes while she sleeps and while she’s awake. The look of LOVE in my boys’ eyes and the SWEETNESS in their voices when they INTERACT with their BABY sister. My hubby and I sitting in the living room, kitchen or bedroom together, engaging in some great dialogue, only to be interupted by “DANCE PARTY USA” (my 4 year old cranking the tunes on his older bro’s computer). We’ll go peek into the room and find ALL 3 boys getting their GROOVE ON! The BEAUTIFUL music my hubby and I make together - LITERALLY - we have a music studio in our bedroom. Ha, ha, ha!!! GOOD or BAD, HAPPY or SAD, we’re a very tight-knit family…Our children COLOR OUR WORLD and they EPITOMIZE what makes OUR house a HOME.

  21. Carol Parsons Says:

What makes our house a home is just being here together. Eating meals together, watching movies together, relaxing together, talking together.

  22. Colleen Says:

Beautiful stuff on this site, way to much beautiful stuff to even know where to begin.

What makes our house a home is love. Just loving each others and making it feel open and welcome to anyone who stops by.

    Good luck on opening day.

  23. Jennifer Alfonso Says:

All your stuff is sooooo beautiful! I can’t wait to try it all :)

What makes our house a home is - us. Us = me, my husband and our 2 kids.

We are currently in between homes right now. Our house is in Vegas and is being rented out by my brother in law. We live in San Diego with my parents for the time being. With real estate down the drain, we obviously can’t sell our home in Vegas without losing a lot of money. We are very fortunate that we can live with my parents to save money. With that being said - I am just happy that we are all together. What may seem like a nightmare to others (living with parents) is actually a blessing. My kids get to grow up very closely with Grandpa and Grandma, we get to save money and we are all together. Though we don’t have a physical house, I feel at home wherever my husband and kids are.

  24. Elaine Says:

Our house is a home because it is a place of comfort, acceptance, and many, many loving memories with generations of family and friends. We place value on the everyday moments. The quite little times and little that might go unnoticed in the lives of some. We place a great importance on understanding the needs of each other and not just being about the me, me, me, we see in the world. We place great inportance on our faith and in our church. We encourage our children to be giving to others, in hopes that they will feel the great inner joy that one gets when being a giver and not a taker. And last, but in no means least, our cats. The source of many hours of comfort sitting on our laps, and laughter over the things they get into. They even have their own scrapbook! That’s us in a nut shell.

  25. Lacey Says:

I am sooo excited that i discovered this site a few weeks ago. You ladies have A-MAZING talent and I’m so glad you are sharing it with everyone!

My house is a home (even though it is an apt) because it is cozy, welcoming, a great place to entertain, and a place to relax. And MOSTLY because of the wonderful man I live with!

  26. Cherie Says:

What makes our house a home? There are way too many things to list but I would have to say my family including our 2 pups. Just spending time together playing board games, watching a favorite TV show, doing a puzzle, having dinner together…all of the things that bring us closer. A house is not a home without the people you love there with you.

    Love this site girls!

  27. amy Says:

The people who live in my house make it a home and a life!! Happy Housewarming!!

  28. Elisha Says:

I have a wall of LOTS of frames with all random family photos going up the staircase in our house. Some of the pictures are old and some are new, but I love each and every one of them. I used to think that I would just swap out photos from time to time, but I started buying more and more frames instead and that’s how the wall of frames evolved. It’s my favorite part of our house though, it really makes our house a home!

By the way, I love your site!

  29. Holly S Says:

What makes a house a home? We just moved in January to a new house in a new state-many, many states away from both of our families-I’m looking at this as an ADVENTURE…we are still not quite un-packed and my things aren’t where I want them and some things got broken during the move and the walls aren’t the color I want to live with-I could go on all day-this difinately would not be what I would call a ‘home’ it’s more of a ‘house’ but I have started looking past that-I need to for my own sanity and I’ve seen that- my husband is here. my pets are here and are enjoying the new big backyard. my cards from my daughter away at college are here and on display. i feel the love everytime i look around me-the way the dog follows me around hoping i give her a treat. the way the cat meows loudly at my feet wanting to be petted. the way my husband kisses me everytime one of us leaves or comes home. OH and lest I forget SKYPE!!! that makes my house feel like a home!

what makes our house a home?

our family eating dinner every night..
we go to church every sunday..
    we support each other..
we love and care for each other..
    laughing just about anything..
talking problems out instead of bickering..
    sharing jokes all the time..
helping each other out in time of need..

yepp! that’s what my mom, my dad, my older sister, and myself does to make our house a home..

  31. Ronna E. Says:

Just discovered your site and am a big fan of your graphics. I’ve just purchased one of your blog banners and backgrounds and hope to have my first attempt at creating my blog up and running soon. When completed I will send link. I’ve found that a house becomes a home when you are surrounded by family. They are your support system and give you strength when times are tough and celebrate with you when times are good.

  32. ej Says:

The old saying that the heart makes a home is so true. I have up rooted from across the pond and made my home here, and all because of love!!! in old age. I recommend it.

  33. Deven Says:

My house is the only home my sons have ever known, but if we had to move, our sense of home would move with us - the security, happiness, sense of well being comes from the connection between our family members and not so much from our physical surroundings. That said, my house is my home and I soooo love to decorate it and make it our special place to relax and create it. I love your new site - best of luck!!

  34. Kelly B. Says:

Big family dinners is what makes our house a home. I love having everyone over and spending quality time over a nice meal. Loving the House Warming book. Off to order one of my own.

  35. Crystal Says:

Happy Housewarming girls! I am a SAHM and I have to say I LOVE being able to print my paper and projects for instant results. Awesome projects and design! Our house is small and full of noise. But, I would say my couch is what makes my house a home. No matter how old my boys are getting, they still love to cuddle on the Couch. And that makes me smile!

  36. Sandy Navarro Says:

I love your new site and am planning to spend this weekend playing with all these fabUlous digi goodies. My husband once told me that I make our house a home & without me it’s just a place to sleep. I think I’ll keep him!!

  37. Pamela Says:

Because my husband and I adopted three older children, and also have one biological child, we often think about what makes a house a home. It definitely has to be a place where everyone in the family feels like they belong and that has so much more to do with love, commitment, and faith than any type of physical structure.

  38. Talia Says:

There are so many things that make my house a home…
-the polly pockets that we find EVERYWHERE…hidden in my silk plants and on the bookshelf!
-our dog coming to greet us at our front door every time we come home
    -our family picture wall
-the constant sound of our giggling girls
-french toast and pancakes made by daddy on saturday mornings
-the messy, but loved, playroom in the basement
-the constant ringing of the phone
-baskets of blankets made by grandma’s that are always at hand to keep us warm
-the people in our house…we found that when we moved, it didn’t matter where we were, as long as the 4 of us were TOGETHER.

    Happy House Warming!!

    Talia:)

  39. Janet Cox Says:

you know it is home when you come back from a long trip…or even a short jaunt from the store…and you let out a sigh of relief. when your 4 year old says “Mommy, do you think our house missed us?”…or when your 9 year old son tells you that he is never moving away from “HOME”. It’s when mommy gets startled by the creaking sounds in the middle of the night, and daddy replies that “it’s just the house talking to us”. It is a home when everything is happening all at once, or sometimes nothing at all, but either way…the house and everyone in it seems happy.

  40. heidi Says:

just so you all know, that i am LOVING all your sweet comments! SO awesome… just makes me so happy! we all love our HOME so much! keep the comments coming!

  41. Brenda Magliacane Says:

WOWZA!!!!!!!! I am blown away by each one of these books that you 3 did they each are so YOU!! When I first saw the elements on your site a couple of days ago for the housewarming I wasn’t really sure that I was into how it all tied together, (I didn’t really think this concept was for me) but after taking a look at each one of your books, I am so filled with inspritation for this album idea! I LOVE it!!!! you 3 are so amazingly talented & I am so ecstatic about your new site & I look forward to visiting often. Thanks.

  42. Julie Acuna Says:

LOVE LOVE LOVE all of your things…..I have already made a few of the Valentine’s version printable book :)
What makes our house a home is the fact that we spend lots of time together…..it doesn’t matter what we are doing…doesn’t have to cost anything….just the quality time together:)

  43. Caty Says:

    Love your work and inspiration!

What makes my home a home is family, share food and creating about it: colours, pictures, journaling…

Thank you for all the inspiration

  44. Ruth Tacoma Says:

    Awesome site & gorgeous stuff!

What makes my house a home? When I look at the stuff in my house and it makes me smile…….makes me heart warm because I see the life and the memories of my family even when they aren’t there. Of course it’s totally better when we are all there….but I am just at the stage of life with family that we are all scattered a bit and the kids are doing all the grown up life stuff.

  45. Traci Severson Says:

You girls sure know how to party! Thank you for inviting us and showering us with all your talent and love. Each of your books is incredible and filled with so much love you feel it oozing from the screen. Aside from my children and husband making my house a home, it is just the simplicity of being in ‘your’ home and knowing where every thing is and just being able to feel the comfort and love of all that you have created within those four walls by what surrounds you. It’s a peace and protection that you can feel when you sit quietly. It’s something you can never have unless it is your home.

    Now, let’s rock this house!

  46. Yvonne Says:

Most of all my family together.
Our dog greeting us when we get home from work and school.
The smell of candles burning, or food cooking.
    OUr pictures.
    Memories of Christmas morning.
    family coming to visit.
Just having a safe place that we can all be in and be ourselves.

  47. Hester Says:

How exciting is all this! The site looks great.
small but important things make my house a home,
My kids feeling safe, having a cozy afternoon near the fireplace.
Crafting together at the dinner table. And my son likes to change the interior a lot, by moving fruniture and so on.

  48. shellie hubbartt Says:

so many things make my house a home Every time we do something to it like paint, buy new urniture, things to make it ours, it is a joint decision. although I would love if everything in it were pink, I had to think about the other members of the family, lol.
Our son, our pets, even though there are times I get tired of picking up the mess- it just wouldn’t be a home if they couldn’t feel comfortable making that mess. (oh yes, we have a “lived in” look, lol)
All the people in it, my dh, son, pets, even the lizzard is what make our house a home– but the new cermaic tile in the kitchen helps a little too! ;D (dh is doing that as we speak!)

  49. Sheila M. Says:

Home is laughter and the closeness of my husband and son.

  50. nancy smith Says:

Wow..I love this! House of 3 is going to help make all of us so creative! What makes my house a home is all of our family.
