Adding a House of 3 Blog Couture Header to Blogspot.
1. Download your House of 3 Blog Couture Header of choice. Here, I’m showing the Vintage Ledger header design.
2. Sign into your blog & go to: CUSTOMIZE>LAYOUT>PAGE ELEMENTS> HEADER Edit.
3. The Configure Header window will pop up & give you the options to load your header. Select Image & you’ll Browse to find the header you want to upload. Under Placement you’ll click Instead of Title & Description.
4. Click Save and it will take you to your Page Elements Page again. Save again.
Voila! Blog Couture! Your header will be up on your blog!

Perhaps a dumb question, but do we put the header into a program such as PSE first and add the title to our blog onto the header or is there a way to add the title while in blogspot? I’m so excited about this - just bought a header and am waiting until I can download it (it’s pending).

Are you going to have ones that are compatible with Typepad? I just switched over today and now found you and bummer, only says blogspot.

I would like to know the same thing as Mindy. I have already downloaded the header to my blog and have no way to insert the blog title or anything. I swear I’m normally computer savvy!

hey Mindy and Jennifer..
you CAN pull the header into PS or PSE and add your title on to the header. if you would like, you could just have the header come up behind your title-notice up above, in the ‘placement’ you can have it place behind your title. That is what my sister did.. check out: hymasfam.blogspot.com) for an example.

i have typepad, and i have placed them both into my blog!
i am going to work on adding a blog header tutorial for typepad, and there are already instructions for add the blog background.

I feel like such an idiot, but I have been trying to get my newly purchased Blog Couture on my blog for two days now with no success. I go through all the steps and when I get to the end my blog hasn’t changed. any help for this techno idiot would be greatly appreciated

Love the templates!!
I have photoshop and I used the dropper to pick up matching colors from the header and background so that when I typed in the name of my blog in my new header, the colors would match perfectly.

Heidi; I absolutely love how your friend has it and that’s exactly how I want mine. I love how wide the posting are is as well. The header comes out so huge Ijust can’t seem to figure this out

Tutorial helped but I had trouble uploading the blog header onto my blog. I finally figured it out! When I saved it, I didn’t save it as jpeg. Can you tell I’m new with photoshop? Keep these tutorials and videos coming. Love your new venture. Keep them coming!

I have uploaded the banner onto my blog, but it is not wide enough…How do I change that? It is sitting within the “gap”/block provided by blogger..with white on each side…

Yes, Heather, add it as a gadget! “configure HTML/Java” then just paste in our provided link code & you’re good to go!

I don’t have Photoshop or Photoshop Express, and can’t afford to purchase them. Is there an alternate way to get the title of my blog on the header, perhaps with the HTML coding?

ok….i just don’t get it! i have messed with this thing for ever and cannot get it on my blog. it doesn’t fit, and it has the page size and the houseof3 logo when it appears on my blog. i am REALLY frustrated and i don’t know what i am doing wrong. i have it in Picasa, PSE and have put my name on it…looks great!! but, it has all of these other things with it! HELP PLEASE!

I have read all of your entries and I don’t seem to see a similar problem out there. I downloaded the purchased blog header and sides but in my computer although it looks like it ‘took’ when I click on it to see it all I get is a big black box that says ‘invalid image’.
Does anyone out there know what is going on?

This was such a great find/deal! I bought another header… cost way more than this and didn’t even come with directions. I’m going to tell my friends about you guys! Thank you so much! Now, I can be proud of my blog. Before, I didn’t want anyone coming to visit.
